She goes by Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey, but is she actually the Arm Bar Assassin? She looked like both after her manhandling of Miesha Tate last Saturday night while fighting for the Women's Strikeforce Bantamweight Championship on Showtime.
Rousey looked mean before the fight and she was even meaner during. I was rather impressed by the aggressiveness of both women, but Ronda was dominant. Rousey is a powerful and talented wrestler. She does lack on striking ,but her opponents must stay away from grappling with her. It looked like she totally screwed up Tate's arm in her first round submission of the now former champion; it literally looked like she was about to snap her arm into two pieces. There was trash talk by both initially instigated by Rousey before the fight, but it has spilled over to after the fight as well. According to Bleacher Report, "Miesha Tate's boyfriend Bryan Caraway recently took to Twitter and threatened Ronda." Her response:
"Of course I can [beat him]. Who is he? You would have never heard of him if it wasn't for Miesha. He's just some dude. He's not even a legit fighter. He is just some random guy that likes fighting, but it won't be approved by any athletic commission out there. People don't want to see a guy and a girl beating each other on TV."
Could she beat the tainted Cris Cyborg that tested positive for steroids and is currently suspended? All I know is that I liked watching her fight and want to again. Ronda Rowdy Rousey is mean and I like it.
