On Saturday, Marco Huck (35-2-1) fought to a draw with Ola Afolabi (19-2-4) to retain his WBO cruiserweight title at the Messehalle in Erfurt, Germany. Judges final scorecards were 114-114 twice and  the other had it 115-113 for Huck. However, the draw was not controversial with Afolabi winning the first half of the fight and Huck taking the second. The final round ended with good action and exchanges with Huck fighting hard to keep his belt.  Some are labeling the final round as a contender for round of the year.

In the co-feature, Kubrat Pulev (16-0) defeated Alexander Dimitrenko (32-2) by knockout in a match up between RING-rated heavyweights. Pulev impressively dominated Dimitrenko and dropped him in the 11th round with a stiff jab. Dimitrenko did not get up, but was on his knees and appeared unwilling to stand.
